Creative Comfort Solutions offers something in Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery Counties that you won’t find with many other contractors: the expertise and trustworthiness of a large company, but with the personal touch of a small company that believes in the best in customer service and company quality. It’s our philosophy to treat every customer who comes to us as though they were our first customer. It’s helped make us a success for over 15 years, and we plan to keep moving forward helping as many local homeowners as we can with their vital comfort needs.

Company Story

Creative Comfort Solutions was founded in 2010 by Russell J Notte. The goal was to create an HVAC business that provided the community with “big company expertise while maintaining small company service”. After spending the first few years building a base of customers, I was able to attract the likes of a former work colleague and friend, Michael Gill. Michael redefines the term “salesman” with his wholistic approach to customer driven solutions and 100% customer satisfaction. He officially joined Creative Comfort HVAC as a part owner in 2014.

From the very beginning, my youngest brother Joseph Notte was a part time employee as he attended Temple University. After obtaining a Batchelor Degree he decided to continue on with the company full time. He has held and excelled at nearly every position within Creative. We were thrilled to welcome him as a part owner in 2020.

The three of us combined have over 60 years experience in HVAC and we strive to deliver that expertise to our customers every day. Although we each have our own special set of skills, it’s our teamwork that has driven the company to its goal of providing every customer with “big company expertise while maintaining small company service.”

Russell J. Notte

After growing up in the Delco, I currently reside in South Philadelphia with my wonderful wife Jordan, our two children Gennaro and Vinny, and our two dogs Donnie and Balor. In my spare time I enjoy snowboarding, golfing, and traveling.

I began working in the HVAC trade after graduating from Interboro High School in 1999. I was fortunate to learn from the best in the business, thank you Jack, Lou, and Dave for taking a chance on me. I helped them build a successful company in Westchester, NY during most of my 20s. While there I also obtained a master mechanical license in Connecticut and Rockland County.

I always had the dream to start a company from scratch, so I moved back to my hometown, and Creative Comfort Solutions was born. I am now thankful and lucky enough to be surrounded by the best team of people who will guide us into the future.

Michael Gill

Coming from a large family with seven kids and two hard working parents, cultivating a sense of humor was imperative. More importantly, I grew up believing that your home is more than just a place- It's where memories are made, laughter is shared , and loved ones gather. Just like family, a well - heated or cooled home provides comfort, security and peace of mind. Whether it's the chill of the winter or the heat of the summer, the creative team and I are committed to ensuring every home stays the perfect temperature all year round. Because I am a problem solver who has earned the trust of my customers, I’ve been fortunate to build lifelong relationships with them. They often refer friends and family to me which is the greatest compliment I could ask for! This happens only by providing the best customer service experience in the industry, including a timely accurate quote and a fair price. Using the knowledge I've gathered from 25 years in the HVAC business, and combining that with an incredibly caring focused team, together we make it easy for you so you can get back to enjoying the comfort of your home.

Joseph Notte

Along with Russell, I grew up in Delco before moving into Philadelphia at the age of 18. After a 10-year period of living in nearly every section of the city, I settled in the Chestnut Hill area with my wife, Kate, and our hound dog, Moose. We purchased our first home in 2021 in Erdenheim, where we now live.

Career-wise, I began on a different path, initially working part time at Creative Comfort while studying English at Temple University. I found a lot of joy learning HVAC through this roundabout way. After graduating, I decided to pursue the trade in a full time capacity. Working with my hands has always been a rewarding experience for me, and my mechanical inclinations have served me well in honing my expertise in this field. I am passionate about home comfort and finding creative solutions for the problems that affect our lives every day. They say being an English major is learning about the human condition – I’ve found the same is true about HVAC, and I strive to understand our clients’ needs and deliver tailored solutions to fit each individual situation.

When I’m not working to solve comfort problems, I am spending my time outdoors. I enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling and trail running. I also love the movies, woodworking and whichever newest skill I need to learn working on my own home.
